I've travelled to 39 states and 7 other countries, and counting. I've always been the type of person who made friends with teachers, bus drivers, and janitors as eagerly as with my peers because I'm always looking for someone new to try to understand.

I take pride in my eclectic perspective—it wasn't acquired by accident. Similarly, my career experience is varied, because my interests are varied. My personal time is spent exploring visual, literary, culinary, kinetic, and martial arts, so, in university, I studied Communications, Engineering, and Design. User experience design and research caught my attention as a path where I could combine as many of my unlike interest areas as I had the creativity to incorporate and I couldn’t pass up that potential to build my own career story .

These days, I aim to recognize and value any opportunity to learn something outside of my own space because the broader my knowledge, the better I can relate to those around me; the better I relate to those around me, the more effective I can be as a designer; and the more effective I am as a designer, the more people I'm able to connect with.
